I love this! I scoop the mixture into ramekins and only put the pastry on the top, as in Australia that’s what a “pot pie “ is! I love that I can enjoy the subtle fennel flavour, and if the kids want to pile tomato sauce (ketchup) on top, well that’s ok too since this recipe has no salt etc.
