Smoothies can either be a great meal replacement or something nutritious to sip on when treatment leaves your appetite feeling a bit weak. This delicious smoothie is not only vegan, it is chock-full of... antioxidants and protein to help your recovery.
Add flax seeds to a blender. Blend the seeds until they form a powder/paste.
Add the blueberries, tofu, agave, and almond milk to the blender and puree until all of the ingredients are combined, about 2 minutes.
If your blender isn’t very powerful, in Step 1 start blending the flax seeds and gradually adding ¼ cup of the almond milk to help them blend into a fine puree. Go to step 2 adding the rest of the almond milk and the other ingredients.
If you want to lighten the texture up, blend a little crushed ice into it at the end
