Day of the Dead

The Day of the Dead is a holiday celebrated throughout Latin America, but mainly in Mexico. This feast features delicious food to connect with those from beyond the grave and celebrates the lives of loved ones who perished.

Beautifully decorated alters with images of loved ones, with flowers, sugar skulls, papel picado (Mexican folk art), candles, and, of course, food are placed in the living room. The Day of... the Dead allows us to celebrate death and reminds us that even though we are not physically with our loved ones, they are still present.
