This Banana, Oat & Pecan Toast tastes like the breakfast version of pecan pie. The added fruit and oats, however, make it a much healthier option. It will satisfy your sweet tooth, but... also give you enough protein and fiber to start your day on the right foot.
In a small bowl, combine butter, rolled oats, pecans and 1 teaspoon honey.
To cook mixture, you can either spread it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake until golden brown, about 10 minutes at 350 degrees. If you'd rather, you can cook the mixture in a pan over medium heat for 10 minutes.
Toast bread slices.
Divide the sliced banana among the four pieces of toast and spread evenly. Top with the oat mixture. Drizzle 1 teaspoon of honey on top of each piece of toast.
