The heat in chili peppers can be quite addictive, and that’s a good thing. It’s been shown in a recent study that eating capsaicin, the compound in chili peppers that makes them hot, hot, hot, can actually help you to live longer. Who knew that something so violently enjoyable to the palate could do you that much good? More than blasting away the chemo blahs during chemo, it keeps you healthier. Gotta love that!
