Ingredients

  • 1 medium pear, peeled, cored and diced
  • ½ cup frozen grapes
  • ⅛-inch slice of fresh ginger
  • 1 cup chopped kale
  • 3 ice cubes
  • ½ to ¾ cup apple cider, as needed
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

Chef Tips

You can use any variety of kale to make this smoothie. I would recommend using ripe Bartlett, Anjou or Comice pears. They are the sweetest.
