  • 1½ cups cubed honeydew melon
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1 cup kale, chopped
  • ½ medium apple, peeled, cored and cubed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (for a sore mouth see Chef Tips)

Directions

  1. In a blender, puree the honeydew melon and the ice cubes. Add the kale, apple, and lemon juice. Blend until very smooth, adding a little cold water if necessary. Serve immediately.

Chef Tips

Honeydew melon is ripe when the flower end gives a little when pushed with  fingers. For a sore mouth, use 1 teaspoon of grated lemon zest instead of juice.
